We offer lessons in Western saddles, English saddles, and bareback pads for riders ages 6 and up. Each lesson typically runs an hour and a half, giving riders plenty of time to learn, practice, and enjoy their horse.
At your first lesson, you’ll be guided through all the basics of horse care and riding. You’ll learn to:
Catch, halter, and lead your horse
Groom and tack your horse before riding
Pick hooves and prepare your mount safely
Ride under the guidance of our experienced instructors
Untack and neatly put away equipment
Groom and safely return your horse to its stall or pasture
Sweep and keep the barn area tidy
Our lessons focus on building confidence, safety, and horsemanship skills from the very first day.

Long pants (jeans or riding pants)
